Java, J2EE Technical Analyst at Nexus Corporation in Tokyo, Japan, Japan

Description:

We are currently looking for a 7-8 years experience Java, J2EE expert to participate in the analysis, development and testing of call center and internet applications. You will be mainly involved in maintenance as well as upcoming projects. This position is based in Tokyo, Japan for a minimum period of 1 year, starting ASAP.

Essential Skills:

  • Academic qualification in Computer Science or similar degree.
  • At least 8-10 years software development experience.
  • At least 7 years Java application development experience.
  • At least 1-2 years work experience on Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Full exposure to Software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge of design patterns
  • Object oriented analysis and design with working knowledge of UML.
  • Java/J2EE programming skills, including experience building web applications using Servlets, JDBC, JSP, Struts, EJB, JUNIT, Oracle on Windows as well as Linux platforms.
  • Experience with HTML, XML and JavaScript. Experience with WebLogic 8/9.2 or other Java Web/J2EE Containers.
  • Experience of working in an Offshore/Onsite model.

Language Skills:

  • Excellent spoken and written English is a must
  • Japanese language skills at least JLPT Level 3 required
