Our Client is an international software Company in the field of Database Management.  The Company has headquarters in the USA and in India is located out of Thane.

Location:

Thane West, Mumbai

Requirements:

·         Replication: master-slave, master-master-slave

·         Restoring: point-in-time, restore a master

·         Backups: table, databases, utilities needed for backing up, affects on table types

·         Query tuning: adding/removing indexes, rewriting queries for better performance

·         Configuration tuning: for query and overall database performance

·         Installation on UNIX o/s

·         Upgrades on UNIX o/s

·         Hands on experience in MySQL 5.x and 5.1x

Other skills:

·         Basic knowledge of UNIX, linux with regard to moving and compressing files, creating users, simple     troubleshooting

·         Excellent English for verbal and written skills. You will need to be able to communicate to the U.S. team as well                 as customers in the U.S.

·         Work well within a team environment.
