We are currently looking for a 5+ years experienced PeopleSoft Functional Specialist / Project Manager for servicing the technology requirements of a reputed Software Development Firm in Tokyo, Japan The successful candidate for this role will work as part of ITteam to understand the requirements from the client and transform them into technically understandable language for the developers to work on:

You will be primarily responsible for delivery of the project, ensuring the quality within the timelines and scope as agreed with the customer. This responsibility includes:

  • Managing day-to-day project escalations
  • Planning for projects
  • Risk mitigation
  • Change management
  • Motivating team members, etc.

Essential Skills:

  •  At least 3 years of project management expertise in the PeopleSoft Finance area.
  • Good understanding of PeopleSoft technology and their application
  • Ability to work well with a wide range of people, motivate them and provide constructive feedback.
  • Communication and presentation skill for meetings.
Language Skills:
  • Business level English
  • Business level (JLPT Level 2) Japanese language skills
Desired Skills:
  • Finance/Insurance knowlege, background
  • Management experience of off-shore team
